WHAT SHOULD BE OUR ATTITUDE AT THE ABORTION MILL
Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are being tortured as if you yourselves were being tortured.

GOD WILL JUDGE OUR WORK AT THE ABORTION MILL
**If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is. **God will judge our work at the abortion mill as gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw. We all build upon the foundations of Jesus with our own efforts. Those efforts range from the obvious dazzling brilliance of gold which is the perfection of our efforts, to the middle worth all the way down to straw which temporary and of small value. I cannot stress this strongly enough. We are all doing God’s work, nonetheless our task to perfect ourselves, to raise ourselves from silver to gold, or from straw to hay, eventually to gold. Each person has different gifts from the Holy Spirit and should be encouraged to express those gifts in different ways. (Personally, I believe that abortion is such a horrible crime against God that the Holy Spirit allows anyone sincere, anywhere, anytime, with the slightest heartfelt prayer, even straw such as me, to save babies and souls.)

WHY ARE WE AT THE ABORTION MILL
**snatch others from the fire and save them. **This is why we are at the abortion mill, this is why we go there, this is why it is important for us to be there, this is what we are doing there, this is our goal, this is our command from God, this is our authorization from God, this is the situation that we are in, this is what we are dealing with, this is what we must overcome. A million words could be written about this, but I am not capable of even a small expression of that. We aim to snatch back souls who are 20 feet from hell and save babies who are 20 feet from being murdered. I leave it to each person to understand that this drama is unimaginable in its gravity and its consequences. The stakes cannot be higher.

WHY DOES A WOMAN HAVE AN ABORTION
A woman has an abortion because she has not put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able resist on the evil day. Without question, this is her “evil day” and because she has not previously put on the armor of God, she does not have the power to resist temptation. She has already killed her baby in her heart; she has already made an appointment to kill her baby physically, and now she and her baby arrive the place of murder.

HOW SHOULD WE PRAY WHEN WE ARRIVE AT THE ABORTION MILL
First, we should say a prayer of exorcism to protect us and the women from the snares of the devil. This can be as simple as repeating the words of St Paul “**we pray that the God of peace will crush Satan beneath our feet”. **Second, we should say an Act of Contrition for our own sins, third, we should pray that God **gives us a well trained tongue **to save them from the fire. Then we pray whenever there is an opportunity. I personally like to say The Divine Praises, The Litany of the Holy Name, The Litany of Loreto. I think The “Magnificat” of The Blessed Mother is extraordinarily beautiful, inspiring and powerful.

WHAT SHOULD YOU SAY TO THE WOMAN ENTERING THE ABORTION MILL

The truth shall set you free. We are obligated by God to proclaim the truth to an abortive woman and only the truth will save her. The first truth is Thou shall not kill - This is the primary and absolute command of Almighty God prohibiting abortion and it is written on the heart of every person. The second truth is that Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for her baby - Jesus has given the baby an infinite value, love and sacredness that cannot be trampled. Third, we all stand before God in judgment for our deeds - No one will escape the final judgment of God of heaven or hell. Fourth, Whatever you do to the least of these you do unto me – the horror of abortion is that it is an attack upon Jesus himself. Fifth, as a man sows, the same shall he reap – a woman cannot live a happy life or solve her problems by killing her baby. God will severely punish the unjust, in this life and in the next. It is in her own selfish interest to let her baby live. Sixth, God always provides a way of escape – there are options, let me show them to you and help you and your baby live.

There are, in addition to these, many other things that can be said. There are some sidewalk counselors who have the gift to teach the abortive women how to love their children right on the spot. Sometimes counselors have the gift to see into her heart and say exactly the right thing to snatch her from the fire. But normally we cannot let the fundamental truth of God go unsaid. It is a grace of God to be told the truth. Brochures and signs should say the same things.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TALK TO HER AT THE ABORTION MILL
The parable of the sower and the seed takes effect when you talk to an abortive mother or father at the abortion clinic.

First, When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.

Or, The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.

Or, The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.

Or, the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it.

It is only the last case that we are able to save from the fire of abortion. In this last case of a save from abortion, God has graced the woman in one of two ways. First, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Catholics know this as “imperfect contrition”) or second, by the love of Christ (Catholics know this as “perfect contrition”)

CAN A WOMAN REPENT AFTER AN ABORTION
Yes, but abortion is such a horrendous crime that repentance is difficult and uncommon – if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the Godless and sinners. This is another reason that abortion must be stopped. Any woman who truly repents of abortion has been given, literally, an amazing amount of grace from God and should be recognized as such.

IS IT SOMETIMES ACCEPTABLE TO BE “STERN” TO THE ABORTIVE PARENTS
Yes.

Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it—I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while— yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death

So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father’s house into a market!”

WHAT MUST BE OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD ABORTION DOCTORS AND NURSES
They have been automatically excommunicated (expelled) from the Christian life - The one who did this deed should be expelled from your midst. I, for my part, although absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as if present, pronounced judgment on the one who has committed this deed, in the name of (our) Lord Jesus: when you have gathered together and I am with you in spirit with the power of the Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. Abortion doctors and nurses have been handed over to Satan by Jesus Christ himself. No person is allowed to interfere with Christ’s will. We may not talk to them, we may not preach to them, we may not acknowledge them, we may not give them coffee, we may not give them a brochure. And most importantly, we may not pray for them in any way whatsoever.

WHAT SHOULD WE NOT DO AT THE ABORTION MILL
Do not violate civil law. Do not condemn anyone to hell

Do not sing or play music - Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing. We are not cheerful at the death of souls and babies so God and Catholic tradition forbids singing/music at the abortion clinic.

Do not chit-chat, do not be distracted or distracting. Do not try to “coerce” anyone, on the other hand, do not be weak-hearted or fearful. Do not beg and do not become friendly with murderers.

SHOULD WE HAVE BLESSED, RELIGIOUS OBJECTS AT THE MILL

Yes. The Bible says we preach Christ crucified

and I am determined to know nothing among you except Christ and him crucified

and **They shall look on him whom they pierced and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn. **

and **O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? **

And the Catechism of the Catholic Church says The human heart is converted by looking upon him whom our sins have pierced.
Therefore a large Crucifix is essential in Catholic tradition at the mill. Also, holy water is very helpful as are devotions to The Blessed Mother asking for her intercession with her Son.
 
TWO SPECIFIC WAYS TO SAVE BABIES

I have learned from experience and common sense that babies can usually be saved in two instances if you say the right thing.

First, is when the mother brings a baby/young child with her to the abortion mill. If you will say something like “abortion is just like killing that little baby” the mother/father will usually realize the truth of human life and turn away from abortion.
Second, when you see a group of three or more people arrive together you should always say “ young lady, don’t let those other people lead you into murder”. This is actually the truth in most cases – she is being lead to slaughter. By saying this you help her realize she must make her own decision and not follow bad advice. It also forces those accompanying her to reassess their culpability.

NOTE 1
There is a long held opinion among many Catholics that an unrepentant woman will see her aborted baby again on Judgment Day. This opinion comes from the following –

The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here. The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.

Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire.

"And near that place I saw another strait place . . . and there sat women. . . . And over against them many children who were born to them out of due time sat crying. And there came forth from them rays of fire and smote the women in the eyes. And these were the accursed who conceived and caused abortion" (The Apocalypse of Peter 25 [A.D. 137]).

There is no such thing as “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” at an abortion mill. St Paul in his Epistle and Pope John Paul II reaffirms that the prohibition against abortion is written on every person’s heart and is knowable by reason itself. They may be ignorant of the horrible procedure but they know their baby is alive and that is why they have come to kill it.

I object to the practice of giving a woman a rosary, or a smile or a blessing as she enters the abortion mill. This is ethically and morally exactly like seeing a woman with a loaded gun. She tells you that she is going to the day-care across the street, find the cutest little toddler and blow his brains out. Should you give her a rosary for that? A blessed rosary? Heaven Forbid!

As the Bible says “thing are going from bad to worse”. The abortion mill I am at has 50% black abortive mothers. Abortion is the number one cause of death among blacks in America. This area population is 25% black so blacks are aborting at twice the rate of whites. If there can be a double tragedy of abortion it is the murder of so many black children. If there can be a triple tragedy of abortion it is the growing number of Latino abortions, many whom are Catholics or Evangelical.

The peak seasons for abortions are 6-10 weeks after Christmas and New Years (specifically, 8 Saturdays after New Years is nearly double the usual number.) and mid-end July which is 6-10 weeks after public schools and colleges let out for the summer, which draws in many very young girls.

St Thomas Aquinas said “voluntary poverty is the quickest way to heaven”. If he were here today he would say “being actively pro-life is the quickest way to heaven”. There is a wonderful opportunity to serve Christ that at the abortion mill. You will be persecuted, hated and suffer for Jesus Christ. You will bear each others burdens; it is the narrow gate; you will be blessed for pursuing righteousness; you will welcome a little child in the name of Jesus; you are fulfilling the Lords command to look for the lost sheep; you are loving your neighbor as yourself; you are doing it for the least of these - so you are doing it for Christ; you will do unto others as you would have them do unto you; you never have to be afraid ever again; you can be like Jesus when you seek and save what is lost; you can be a sheep in the midst of wolves; you can sow generously and reap generously; you can fight the good fight; you can hate what is evil; you can battle Satan and his demons – in person!

I have personally experienced two “Biblical” miracles at the abortion mill. God also gives Consolations.
 
I’ve rarely had success helping any woman walk away from abortion by using emotional language.

IMO, women about to abort their children are completely cut off emotionally. They have shut down. This makes even more sense when you bring into play situations such as abuse; it is well known that those who suffer abuse have detachment issues and emtional issues.

I have been able to help women and their children the most by being specific and also helping them to see the bigger picture.

Asking them questions helps: why are they here? No money? Well an abortion costs money and they still won’t have money after they kill their baby. How does that help in the long run?

Abusive boyfriend? Abortion isn’t the answer.

Parents ashamed? Abortion won’t help address the real issues in the parent/child relationship.

Health problems? Abortion is a pretty invasive medical procedure. Untreated diabetes is still untreated diabetes after the abortion, for example.

I think the radical in your face approach is derogatory and rude. I see people use it all the time and except for the few people they manage to scare away, I do not see them reach any hearts or help any minds understand.

Acts without charity are useless and it seems that most people think emotional/radical/in your face stances are without charity.

Chris, Thank you for your contribution. Nevertheless, I don’t think we always know why a mother decides to commit abortion. Yes, abortion is objectively speaking a grievious moral wrong but many times these poor women have not consented to ending the life of their unborn child. She can be just as much of a victim as the child. :gopray:
