I do not know if this should go here but…

Iets say you are reading and in the book is the sentence" i like to go bungee jumping"…later in thr day you randomly come across an articlr on the internet. You click on it with interest and you come across the word bungee jumping again without even thinking about what you read in the previous day.i know this may just be a dumb coincedence in life and stuff like this happens all the time but could even small stuff like this be from God especially when your going through a tough time and needing guidance?.

As always, if you are looking for serious spiritual guidance please talk to a real, non-anonymous, real-life person such as a priest.

If you just want to know what random strangers think, I would say that our brains are designed to find patterns and often construct connections between things that are merely coincidence. Is your brain’s focus on bungee-jumping (or whatever the real issue is) a sign of some unconscious desire? An excuse you are making to do what you want to do anyway? A sign from God? None of those? Nobody here can answer that - it requires serious introspection, ideally with the help of a trained adviser. Just my two cents.

Ok im.sorry i had a feeling this post may be inappropriate…
Not inappropriate. We all cast about for guidance from time to time. I am just saying that there is no replacement for a real life encounter with someone you know has your best interests at heart. If you are trying to make a serious decision, give yourself the same serious reflection and access to resources that you would want anyone you love to have. That doesn’t mean you can’t poke around the internet to get anonymous ideas and musings - but don’t forget that is what they are. There are people in your life that would love to help you make this decision, and who care that you make a good one. Trust me - there are. Even if you disagree with their viewpoints, hearing them may help to solidify your thoughts and help you come to a decision.
