I know that it’s “In ainm an Athar agus an Mhic agus an spioraid Naoimh. Amen.” But how do I pronounce it? I want to say it right if I’m going to say it.

Just curious. Why would you want to learn that? The only place you might hear it is in Ireland but my daughter lives there and as far as I can tell Masses are in English (apart from any in Latin).

Thought it would just be neat to learn. I’d like to use it on my own. My roots go back to Ireland and I guess I just want to feel connected.

Yes, in most parts of Ireland Mass is in English but if you go to the west of Ireland you will hear Mass in Irish and even in areas that are totally English speaking the “Sign of the cross” and “Our Father” are quite often said in Irish. If you plan to visit Ireland and attend Mass there they are useful prayers to know. St. Patrick’s Day Mass in many churches is in Irish too.
