Significance of this Prayer Card

I went to view a rental property today and found that the previous occupants had left behind a brand new boxed bilingual bible in the bedroom closet and a Spanish prayer card above the main doorway.
Being a catholic myself, I wasn’t surprised by the use of holy objects. I have holy pictures, a blessed cross, and palm leaves in my previous apartment. What did give me pause was the word “exorcismo” on the prayer card. I don’t know if this kind of card is common in Spanish Catholic households or if this was put there for another reason aka evangelism or worse yet a warning to run from this rental. I also don’t know why they would leave these religious items behind but take everything else. Did they merely forget? I have also been unable to find this specific prayer card worded in this way online.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Take the prayer card to your priest if it makes you nervous. You can take the Bible to your priest too and if it’s a Catholic Bible I’m sure he can find a home for it.

Don’t worry about stuff people left in rentals. It’s just stuff left in rentals. Say a prayer yourself and then you can forget about it.

The word itself may be entirely benign; it’s impossible to know without context. There are lay prayers that can be offered daily, such as a nightly examination of conscience and act of contrition that in Spanish might be (partially) properly translated as “exorcismo”.

Welcome to CAF, @VipJD! Is there any way you can upload a picture of the prayer card so that we can read it here? Since you’re new here, possibly not. There are restrictions on what new members can do in their first week or two.

Yeah, I tried uploading pictures. It wouldn’t let me.
The front says Exorcismo publicado por Orden de S.S. Leaon XIII and the back Oracion a San Miguel Archangel.
The prayer card seemed benign to me. I was wondering more about the reason it was left but it’s kinda hard to tell without knowing the people. It may just be a cultural thing when they moved out.

Exorcismo publicado por Orden de S.S. Leaon XIII | Oracion a San Miguel Archangel.
Exorcism published by the Society of St. Leo XIII. | Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.

Nothing to worry about, just a St. Michael Prayer Card. As some leave a St. Benedict medal, others a St. Joseph statue, perhaps the previous renters wanted the next renters to be blessed by the intercession and protection of St. Michael. All good!

I would stay clear of renting the home if you are uneasy in the home. Talk to your priest if there is any bother in that home previously he may know about it.
