Signs to ask for Pope John Paul II’s intercession

Hey, I’m new here. A few weeks ago, I saw a DVD on Pope John Paul II on the table and today, my friend’s mother gave me another CD about his life story. Is this a sign for me to ask for his intercession in whatever’s going on with my life right now?
