Shlama (or Shlomo in West Syriacs) to all!
I do not know if you have noticed at all,but I do many similarities between East and West Syriac Vestments.
First, while we East Syriacs do no use Msono (scandals), we both use the same alb. East Syriacs call this the “Kuttina” while West Syriacs call it “Kuttino”

The priest then wears an Urara, which is known as the Hamniko in the West Syriac rite and a stole in the Latin rite.

The priest then puts on handcuffs, known as Zende in the West Syriac tradition and Zande in East Syriac Tradition.

The Priest also puts a gridle, known as the Zenoro in West Syriac and Zunara in East Syriac.

And finally, the priest puts the “cape”, also known as the phayno in West Syriac and Paina in East Syriac. The Syro Malabar church,Syriac Orthodox Church, Malankara Orthodox church, Mar Thoma Church,Syro Malankara Church, Thozhiyur Church, and Syriac Catholic church tends to use ornate Paina/phaynos while the Chaldean Catholic church,Assyrian Church of the East,Ancient church of the East, and the Maronite Church tends to use more simple Painas/Phaynos.
