How do you live a simple catholic life in a village or rural area? Why?
 
I think I would love that… Life revolving around Mass, scheduling your day by the chimes of the steeple…
 
You share a priest with two or more other parishes, have one mass a weekend and one daily mass a week, drive long distances for many essentials.
 
We’ve been members of a rural parish for 30 years…there are four worship sites, and the parish covers more than 500 square miles…two wonderful priests…an outreach ministry that helps the needy in the area…more volunteer opportunities than are available in urban parishes…several active small Christian communities…and many close friends…
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
