It depends on what you mean by “knew about”. If you forgot something then it was forgiven, but if you kept back something then you need to go confess it:

1456 Confession to a priest is an essential part of the sacrament of Penance: "All mortal sins of which penitents after a diligent self-examination are conscious must be recounted by them in confession, even if they are most secret and have been committed against the last two precepts of the Decalogue; for these sins sometimes wound the soul more grievously and are more dangerous than those which are committed openly."54

When Christ’s faithful strive to confess all the sins that they can remember, they undoubtedly place all of them before the divine mercy for pardon. But those who fail to do so and knowingly withhold some, place nothing before the divine goodness for remission through the mediation of the priest, "for if the sick person is too ashamed to show his wound to the doctor, the medicine cannot heal what it does not know."55

And I remember a recent thread saying that asking for absolution for the deceased’s sins is part of the funeral liturgy as well.

Frankly, I don’t think this is something that we can know. There are all sorts of holy people who have all sorts of opinions on the matter. Some have said that God gives you one last chance to choose upon death. Some have said that God is outside time and therefore doesn’t judge you solely on the moment of death but on all of eternity. Some speculate on if you would have turned from the sin had you lived. Overall, there simply is no answer to this.

We must choose to live our lives the way we should, then leave the rest up to God’s mercy.

Objectively speaking, if you deliberately withhold confessing a mortal sin during confession, and then are still not sorry about it afterwards, and die persisting in this state, then yes, you will go to hell.
