Single motherhood way up

This sad article in the Boston Globe almost celebrates the single mother especially those who did it on purpose (celebs like Jodi Foster). Single motherhood is up 25% since 1990 and no one is making waves about it. This contrasts with Dan Quayles famous and often maligned criticism of 80’s sit-com star Murphy Brown’s single motherhood. He caught alot of flak for it but guess what - Quayle was right! Maybe we should start talking about it again.
