Back in February I quit masturbation (yes yes I know, it’s another thread about that…) I’ve been to confession for it and have been successful! However, I’ve had dreams where I did “it” and it felt rather real but it also seemed like a dream with other stuff going on.
As a female there aren’t really any signs of something happened but I’m 99% sure it was all in the dream. However I do have a fear that perhaps I did commit a sin and then I’ve received Communion.
I don’t have full consciousness when I sleep and you need full consent to have a mortal sin. I’ve been so happy with my progress regarding this so far and I’ve been praying everyday and saying the St. Michael prayer and Guardian Angel prayer.
So, do I need to go to confession before communion again? Is there anything you people could suggest for me to do to possibly aid the stopping of these dreams?
They happen only every few weeks and sometimes not even every month. Plus, I’m staying far away from indecent images and stories and such so I don’t know what could be triggering the dreams…
