Hello! I just received news that my sister is pregnant with her second child. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy. But with this news, I’m glad but also a little worried. My sister does not practice the faith, and arguably spends more time working and studying for her 3rd college degree than she does with her child. Her husband watches porngraphy and has not ben attentive to his son as he should be. Because of this their first child suffers from anxiety and such. They do not go to Mass, and I have little hope that the child will be raised in a good home where the faith will be the priority. Nevertheless, I have hope in God’s grace. What should my position be? Am I thinking about this too much and should be happier? Or do I have a legitimate reason to be concerned? Am I guilty of judging?

You have a legitimate concern, but have recourse to God. Fast a day of the week for them, and pray for them often. Fasting and prayer can change the course of others lives, and make people do for God things they wouldn’t have done otherwise. And try your best to be an example of a holy Catholic to them. St. Joseph protect you, and may he intercede for the children
