Sister who taught

In the church bulletin was the statement:

A parishioner wrote: “We thank our God today and every day for every religious sister who taught us at school, not only our ABC’s but also to love God.”

Is this not a grateful remark about religious nuns?

I thank God every day for the Nuns who taught me in both elementary & high school. God bless them all, I pray for the repose of their souls daily.
