They were founded for promotion of interfaith peace. In the US, they conduct a school in the Kansas City, Missouri, area. Additionally, there are two branches – active and contemplative.

My mother was taught by Sisters of Our Lady of Sion.
She boated with them for a few years.
We used to visit them, and for a while I considered joining them.
