Has the situation concerning Target restrooms and transgender customers using them improved significantly in recent months?

I haven’t heard much more about it actually. I have tried to stay away ftom Target. I think I have only been there twice since the announcement about the bathrooms and transgenders.

I never was a big shopper there, but in the past month have found myself there twice. The local one, in addition to gender specific bathrooms has a “family bathroom”. Not sure it is new as I have seen them for years in other places for changing children.

I did take notice though since the controversy whereas before I only noticed as part of finding the right door.

Yes, the Target nearest us still has this setup, and it did before this controversy, too.

(As a mom of boys, I can say I really, really appreciate when stores bother to have family restrooms.)

The Target store is very close, just 3 minutes away and I used to shop there very
regularly. I have not been there once since their announcement.

I have not spent one cent in Target since last Summer. I wonder if their stock is still down?

I have boycotted Target since last April. Will put a damper on my birthday shopping spree… but I will adjust and go to shopko instead. Maybe even Wal-Mart.

I think I read somewhere they were wanting people to come back.
I think they were trying to get me back…when I WAS shopping there, I almost NEVER got target store coupons in the mail (I still have my target card, but I use it elsewhere as its still a mastercard) and recently, in December or late November, I received a postcard of coupons! Funny how they noticed I stopped shopping there…but when I did shop there…they didn’t really care.

At the height of the controversy I stopped going to Target because I was scarred to. I felt like people were looking for trans people in the store or using the restrooms and did not feel safe. Ironic?

I have always used female spaces at Target and at any other store or place if I had need to. I always will. So boycot all you want.
