During treatment yesterday, Doctor visited and told me that the forms have been filed to reduce my treatments from twice monthly, to once per month. This will likely begin in June, he said. The treatments could conceivably be reduced to once or twice per year, but medical science simply does not know the proper maintenance dosage for this experimental application of the drug, since we are breaking new ground here. It absolutely humbles me that such a miraculous recovery has occurred because of the prayers of the faithful. He demonstrates grace in the face of trial, strength in the face of sickness, and wisdom in the face of challenges that would bend lesser people. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Dear Lord, I thank you for the gift that Jim has made of himself, to you and to others. I praise you for placing him in our midst. May he continue to grow in health and in your grace. Amen
 
Our continuous prayer for brother Jim…and so we pray…

PRAYER FOR THE SICK:

Father, Your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the nature of patience in human illness, hear the prayers we offer for our sick brother/sister.

May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be Saints and know that they are joined to Christ in His suffering for the salvation of the world.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, thank you for caring for po18guy and loving him the way you do. Please continue to bless and protect him. May he keep persevering in faith and in every good work and keep trusting in your goodness and Providence. May your holy and perfect will be done in his life with no obstacles to your holy will. Mother Mary, I recommend po18guy to you. Please help him to keep strong and courageous and filled with love for you and Jesus. Amen.
