This is a legitimate question - I’m interested in the thought process that leads one to think this sort of post will help the OP.

I suffer from clinical depression and studied philosophy. I got my degree and am working blue collar–landscaping to be more precise. A bachelors in philosophy and theology won’t get you a high paying job right of college to be sure but it will give you a leg up over those who only have a high school diploma. I think studying philosophy and theology may be beneficial to you as I found that it helped me cope with my own depression, which is something you definitely need to do or you will most likely end up on the street. Don’t let depression go unchecked because it will only get worse. Oh, and pornography is mortal sin so stay away from that. You’re better than that.

So, I ended up running away for a day, troubling my parents (eventually my mood lifted a bit so I asked to return home). What conserns me is the reason though: I panicked because I couldn’t bring myself (I tried to force myself, but became frustrated) to do simple yard work on Friday.

Maybe it’s time you got a job and moved out on your own.

You said that the porn you are addicted to is not normal stuff. Do you have SSA?

I’m attracted to both men and women, yes. In particular, emotional attachments tend to lead to sexual tension.
