So there is this girl

21 and 15? Stick to group activities.

24 and 18? Have at it. Maturity issues will still make themselves felt. Discernment is key at any age.

Nothing wrong with meeting your future spouse at such a young age. My parents met at 17 and 16, started dating a year later. They were chaperoned at that early age, that was how things proceeded in those days. Still married.

Good luck.

To all of those who warned the OP to stay away until the girl is 18, keep in mind that the age of consent varies from country to country and the OP didn’t state where he is. Here in Canada the age of consent is 16, which is only a year away in this case. I would agree he should wait until she reaches the age of consent, whatever that is where he lives, to avoid scandal.

Yes, it depends on the country, but I would seriously discourage it. I have yet to see it work for many reasons (parents, society, and the girl herself).

BTW, what country do you live in? ( If US, which state?)

Be very careful…regardless of how physically/emotinally mature she may be …she is minor…what used to be affectionately referred to in the South as…San Quniton Quail…
My thoughts exactly. Please be very, very careful. She is a minor and I agree that groups setting are best in such a case.

Yes, she’s a child and however much you like her and have no ill-intentions towards her, it wouldn’t be appropriate to try to develop a friendship with a 15-year-old girl when you are a grown man.
This.

No way I would have wanted my 15 year old daughter being friends with a 21 year old man.

Why are you not making friends with young women your own age? It will not matter as much later, but right now, you two are worlds apart in intellect and emotion. No way you should be hanging out with her.
