This morning I realized that I was in peaceful state of mind, actually I was tired. I was playing wiht my son, she was at a friend. This is not to blame my wife, but when she came home I sensed she was either stressed or anxious for one reason or another. I also recognize that if she is stressed (Or I am, and it is not resolved) we will both be stressed, will have tension between us, and I think that feelings like that most devinitely interfere with a person’s willingness and ability to do something charitible for another. I wonder if this is the same for other people as well. In any event my goal is to de-stress my wife and myself now for the sake of our marriage and for our son.

Gpd B;ess.

I’m not sure what you are communicating here, Bill. What kind of “friend” was your wife with?

I think when you posted, you may have been quite a bit stressed too.

I was playing with my son, she was ‘out’ is the appropriate sentence.

Actually that is exactly what was going on. My wife came home and was, to put it nicely, ‘extremely stressed’. I thouht of making the post righ then, and did. He stress spilled over to me so I was very stressed as well. I have PTSD so do have reactions like that to ppl who are very upset, etc.

Peace,
Bill

Stress is interesting, but I think this is the type of situation where we get to actually sense the truth that the sacrament of marriage is more than an outward sign for the world to see our commitment.

It is absolutely that we become one ( not physically).
