I was just reading the “Social Justice” forum and I came upon the phrase “social ministry” here:

could name two kingdoms. Each kingdom could have many cities, many homes, and many rooms.
Perhaps we can explore that territory together. Our social interaction here on the Catholic Answers Forums could create two new academic subject areas, perhaps straddling the traditional academic departments of Philosophy, Anthropology, Mathematics, and Linguistics.
I won’t comment on that claim, because it seems to me that stringing together the word “social” and the word “ministry” isn’t enough to determine a unique meaning.If Jesus’ ministry was basically a social ministry, it failed horribly.
