Hello CAF members
Myself, my dh and our daughter have been trying to help a family member come back to God for some time. This family member does not believe in God b/c he is afraid of the devil. I’m sure he realizes that his logic is grossly flawed, (“i dont beleive in flossing because i am afraid of cavaties” lol). I’ve witnessed to people who are angry at God, who simply never thought to believe or who believe in a different god, but i’m not really sure how to approach this one. Anything that would strenghten his belief in God would just as much increase his fear of satan which would in turn, I think, cause him to lose faith and belief in God again.
Has anybody here ever witnessed to someone like this? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated. If not, if anyone would say a prayer for him to see the truth and a prayer for us to speak only wisdom, my family and I would appreciate it a lot. thanks and God bless each of you.
