Refused to say EVERYTHING at their last confession before death…i read this was said by our blessed mother to some saint…

This kinda scares…bc even a devout catholic can end up in hell bc they either forgot or hid some secret sins…

Forgetting is not the same as deliberately holding back.

Anyone who sincerely repents of their remembered mortal sins and confesses them but genuinely forgets some mortal sins is absolved.
Anyone who deliberately refuses to confess some known mortal sins will not be absolved. They might be able to fool the priest but any absolution he gives would not be valid and you cannot fool God.

From my understanding these deeds were fogiven by Jesus even though we didn’t say them because of our forgetfulness.

I did that once in confession and one very dear priest in a suddenly harsh voice said never to do that – since that confession back then was sincere, but I forgot some sin, it would be a disbelief in God’s Mercy to bring back this old “re-remembered” sin again.

He is wrong.

While we are not to dredge up the past, we are still required to confess any forgotten mortal sin subsequently remembered. It is not disbelief in God’s mercy.

Says who?

Hid yes. Forgot no.

Catholicism is not a religion of fear. It is a religion of faith, hope, love, and therefore joy. God does not play gotcha. If you live your life in this kind of fear then you have some rethinking to do because you then possess an unhealthy misconception of God and his love for you.

1 John 4 tells us that perfect love casts out fear. We are all fearful of things, it’s part of being human. The love of God, however, need never be doubted. God is not looking for ways to trip us up, trick us into losing out, or scrupulously examine our every thought from every moment of our lives. Forgetting something in confession is nothing more than being immersed in this human experience. God knows and understands it all and is not waiting with thunderbolts to punish us for something overlooked.
 
You could be lying on your death bed in a hospital, unable to speak, and your pastor or a priest who knows you well can come and give you an apostolic pardon.
