Well yeah i need some help here i just tough about when i saw forum titles about ten comandments and that gived me an idea

What really bothers me is that what can person do when person thinks that ten commandments are just like that and you can do what ever you want you know i mean right?

People will say whu needs this i just live withoud this and do i want whu cares

But here s the problem we should and we need to obey ten commandments but people whu dont understand doesnt listen because they dont know someone need to tell them so what can we do about this problem

How can we explain to person that its important to obey ten commandments we got from god?

and another thing is i go to church for christmas and easter but problem is is that really what you think?
that s totaly ignoring everything and this is big problem in today

world sadly someone need to take this serius what s going on how to help such people should we talk about this with priest should we call person and talk to priest and they will teach them that this they think is not right

Because when person have hardened heart it canoot listen to enyone sadly but i know you can pray but what else should do?

Sebo3e, could I encourage you to go to Mass each Sunday instead of a couple of times in a year? It’s wonderful that you do go on those special days, but God does require us to honour every Sunday.

Would you be able to go to a priest to talk about your questions and to receive absolution for any way you failed to be a good Catholic/Christian in the past?

There are two main things you can do to help others, give good example by living like a good Catholic, or good Christian, you don’t mention your region on your profile page.
And by praying for them, as you say.

We can’t make anyone else live according to the commandments, but we can live the way that God wants us to, and we can pray for others.
That’s the best we can do.

If we learn enough about what God teaches in the bible and in the Church we may be able to answers other people when they don’t understand religion or Catholics, but Saint Frances of Assisi said that the strongest teaching of others, is if we live good lives ourselves.

God bless you for your good and kind intentions.

There are rules we should live by that are not in the 10 commandments, being Catholic isn’t all about following the 10 commandments if it was life would be easy.

It is great that you go to church for Christmas and easter but there is a commandment in the 10 commandments that states remember to keep the Sabbath holy this means that we should go to church every Sunday and of course every other holy day

I think the reason why we suggest people talk to there priest is beacuse we don’t have all the answers and we cannot offer absolution and sometimes a priest can help in more spiritual ways

Excuse me i was talking about problem with people not about me i guess we got here a misunderstanding and sorry for late reply
can you please re read i said?

Sorry for late reply Brendea but i whould ask to please re read my comment just as i explained above because my comment was misunderstanded and not taked correct way can you take your time to again read because we cant go fast to conclusions

How about you just follow the Ten Commandments yourself, and pray for whoever else isn’t doing it?

If you warned the sinful person, you did your part. The rest is up to them. Stop fretting about what others do.

Trishie obviously read your post.
Her reply makes perfect sense.

I do not mean this in a rude or uncharitable way, but do you have any challenges with reading English? Because it seems like maybe you are not understanding the responses of the other posters in the thread.

I think one way to explain the importance of the ten commandments is that they were given to us by God for OUR benefit. Too often people think they are just to keep us from doing what we want.

We benefit by having stronger relationships with God, the ones we love and the people we live with. This brings stability to our lives and peace of mind.

By not living by the ten commandments (and having close relationships with others who don’t live by them) we are never satisfied (always coveting), risk a lifetime of broken relationships (friends and family), lack trust and never have peace. Not to mention risk of condemnation in the afterlife.

I hope this helps some, but as you said its difficult to expain to someone with a hardened heart.

That helped greatly thanks alot but again if that doesnt work i should keep praying i guess?

plus sorry for late reply
