Another piece by Rod Dreher assessing the collateral damage of the sexual revolution. I would give an excerpt, but it doesn’t allow copying, which is probably just as well. He seems to have a lot of correspondents who know more about these things than most of us would ever wish to know. But it seems to show where we are headed.

I read the article, and I read the link to her longer essay.

He did tell her at various time points (including when they were dating) that he wished he were a woman.

But then he would confuse the issue by behaving in a very manly fashion.

And she wasn’t trained in mental health issues, so it wasn’t something she could sort out.

And just as in sexual attraction and orientation, gender bending behaviors occur along a spectrum, from occasional forays into trying how the other half lives, all the way to permanent surgery.

But in either case, it was a big mess
