My wife accuses me at times of having selective hearing. If I do not want to hear what she is saying, I simply tune her our. The volume of her voice and the enthusiasm of the delivery of what she is saying does not change. I simply do not listen. 
I think at times in our lives, we as God’s people have selective hearing. We hear what he is saying, but for whatever the reason we tune God out.
We know what God wants us today, but we choose to do what we want to do.
If today we hear God’s voice, harden not our hearts.
May we ALWAYS hear God’s message and ALWAYS try to do what God wants us to do.
