My son, 19, is leaving this weekend for Marine boot camp. He’s a strong boy and up for the challenge, but being his Mom, I am going to need some prayers to deal with the “no contact for 13 weeks” rule. Please pray for him and for our family, for his safety, and for all those serving our country.
Know that I am keeping all of those prayer requests I see on this forum close to my heart as I pray today. God bless us all.

I will pray for your son, and for all who serve in our Armed Forces. :gopray:

Father, bless theresa with the strength and courage which you gave your own mother, our blessed mother, Mary. May she find solace with you and experience this time with her child in spirit since she cannot be with him physically. (Oh dreadful!) That she would ultimately have confidence in your protection and care for him.

Asking this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I love these forums! Thank you so much for the prayers. How beautiful and touching. God bless you all.

My prayers are with you–your son is doing an extraordinary thing…tell him he is in our prayers!!!

I am praying for you and your son. My son is only 10 months old and I can’t imagine how hard this is for you. God Bless you both,

Tee;)

Lord, please comfort Theresa and watch over her son, in Jesus’ name, Amen

Lord, I thank you for the courage of Theresa’s son, and all those serving in the military. Keep them all safe, and bring Your peace to them and their families. In Jesus name we pray.

Semper Fi - means always faithful - may your son enjoy his path and we pray for his safety and courage - and yours too.
