If you don’t mind OP, please say a prayer for my little boy. He is still very young but I have been praying for his vocation since he was in the womb. Not sure why, I just had a very strong urge to do it when I was pregnant and have done so since. May God’s will be done.

You bet I will! I prayed to (then) Blessed JPII for my son’s vocation. I will add your intentions.

He is 11 and just told my parents. My dad’s brother was a priest, so he must be smiling down.

How old is he? And (whilst you might have hoped that it would happen), did you have any inkling that it would?
Great news.

He is 11 years old and while we always expressed that holy orders was a vocation like marriage, I thought he had a crush on a classmate. Next year, at his school, they visit our local seminary. But, he just told us “out of the blue.”
