I was raised a Catholic… long story short, as an adult now I’ve begun attending church again this past year. I have not been confirmed… would I still be able to have my son baptised? My spouse is non-Catholic but is supportive of having our son baptised.

Thanks

Yes, he would be able to be baptized. Your son’s baptism will not depend on your being confirmed or not (although, don’t be surprised if the parish invites you to consider entering into the process through which you will be confirmed!)

It is good that you have been attending Church. The Church can only baptize infants if there is a well founded hope that the child will be raised Catholic. The priest has a duty to question you about your intent in that regard. Technically, the parent does not have to be confirmed, or actually, even be Catholic.
