Sorrow and attachment to vice

To all that are reading,

The Peace and Grace of Jesus Christ be with all of you. Please keep me, the worst of all sinners, in your prayers.

I am a music producer of secular rap music, and I am very much attached to secular music all together - especially dark horrorcore type music (excluding extreme satanic and not to mention blasphemous lyrics.)

With that in mind, please pray that I may be able to detach myself from such wickedness, especially because of my bad example in which I have projected onto others. I am heart broken that I have to give up my worldly attachments in which I do strongly have, but I desire to do the best that I can for Jesus Christ: our God.

Spiritual combat has probably never been so strong in my life, but I must admit that my pride is the root of all my adversaries and I shall have no defense or excuse for my sins when the Lord is to judge me, except that I am weak and presumptuous.

God Bless you all and thank you for taking time out of your day to read this and pray for me.

Try to replace that music with songs that don’t have vulgar lyrics. I used to like horrorcore as well. I was a juggalo. Be active in prayer as well; God will rescue you from it if you put your faith in Him instead of trying to fight the habit on your own. I’m praying for you. May God lead you out of ungodly music and may He help you replace it.

I thank God that you’re able to see that you need a change. That’s half the battle right there. You’re already on your way to success.

God bless you for receiving God’s grace to determine to give up so much that you enjoy.

Merciful God, it will doubtless sometimes be much harder for Ros than other times, but please guide him to the practical as well as the spiritual means to overcome anything that dulls Your image in him, or prevents him from being all that You desire.
Loving God please flood Ros with Your healing light and love.

And Ros, Saint Francis was originally very worldly, and Saint Augustine put off conversion for years, and had a mistress and an illegitimate son. Great saints now. So never give up hope!

Hello Drac. Wow. The fact that you said you were once a Juggalo gave me much hope, because I thought that I was the only one struggling with my attachment. I have an emotional attachment to a similar group, but for the sake of our viewers I would not like to say who in public. Thank you for your kind words and your advice. God Bless you.
