when we die do the souls go to either heaven or hell,or do they wait for the second coming of Christ?
Hope this helps!Note: Purgatory will not continue after the Second Coming. Therefore, your body does not share in the punishment in purgatory.
Your soul and body cease to exist. Animals have a soul too. There is a third part of a human and that is the spirit. It is the spirit that communicates with God and lives on after death. I don’t even think you can separate soul and body. I think they are one unit separated from the spirit. The spirit goes immediately to heaven or hell after death. After the resurrection we will be given a new body.when we die do the souls go to either heaven or hell,or do they wait for the second coming of Christ?
Animals and plants have a mortal soul which dies when the animals and plants die. Humans have an immortal soul which is separated from our bodies upon death and if saved goes to Heaven (maybe via Purgatory) or if condemned goes to Hell. This is immediate upon death when The Particular Judgement takes place. The Final Judgment does not change the destination but it reunites our bodies with our souls.Your soul and body cease to exist. What is your source for this third entity? I’ve never heard it described that way. We are ensouled creations of God last I knew.Your soul and body cease to exist. Animals have a soul too.
