In The Book of Hosea, Chapter 10 Verse 12 states:
“Sow for yourselves justice,
reap the fruit of piety;
Break up for yourselves a new field,
for it is time to seek the Lord,
till he come and rain down justice upon you.”

Please explain.

Justice is when people receive what is belongs to them by right. Injustice is when we deny something which is someone’s by right.

When we give people what is theirs by right - food to the hungry, clothes to the naked, etc. - we sow a seed which bears the fruit of eternal life.

For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who is not partial and takes no bribe. He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. Love the sojourner therefore; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:17-19)
