Has anyone on the west coast heard of Sower Ministries? Here is their website:

A friend of mine is attending one of their annual retreats this weekend; it appears to be a Catholic charismatic organization; I was curious if they are endorsed/approved by their bishop and if they adhere to genuine Catholic teaching.

Have not heard of them before.

Ask them, through their website, if they have a letter of endorsement from the parish priest or the Archdiocese of LA.

This is usually sought for by Catholic groups to show they are catholic.

I browsed through their website but could not find an endorsement by the local bishop or parish priest.

Thanks. I scoured through their website, also, and I couldn’t find one, either. They seem to be prominent in the Hispanic community, and it appears their home parish is in Azusa, which lists one of their ministries as this group.
