Is there a difference in something being in another space and something being in another dimension?

In physics and mathematics, the dimension of a space or object is informally defined as the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify any point within it.[1][2] Thus a line has a dimension of one because only one coordinate is needed to specify a point on it (for example, the point at 5 on a number line). Arguably (hypothesis, some say theory), a “space” can contain many “dimensions”.

A extradimensional being say a demon causing nightmares can be “here” as where we are but in another dimension. A seer would see something as being there but it’s also in another dimension right?

There you go again trying to make “demons” physical beings.
When you talk extra dimensions you are still talking about MATERIAL THINGS.
If a being from the 4th dimension interacts with us 3 dimensional beings we are still talking about MATERIALITY, PHYSICALITY.
GOD is NOT of the material world. HE created all the dimensions, all the material, all the materiality of this Universe and if there are other Universes (Multiverses actually do exist) He created those too.
So far those are mathematical theories, ideas in prolific minds, very hard that we can actually test those theories .
Jesus tells us that Angels are Spirits. Spirits do NOT use machines, don’t fly UFO’s and don’t come from other “dimensions” they dwelve in the same reality as God.

Spiritual beings do not have dimension. It makes zero sense to speak of angelic beings being from another dimension. That is infusing 1950s fantasy radio with proper theology. It’s a bad idea.
Dimensions describe (generally) axes of movement. Either movement in a plane, or a plane of rotation. Thus, an engineer might deal with six dimensions (x,y,z, pitch, roll, yaw) compared to the classical physicist who dealt with only three.
But here you are dealing of movement of physical things. You are speaking of measurable quantities as well.
Spirit is not measurable in that way. It is without dimension.
Space is usually a reference to the field of movement. So if I create a Cartesian space, it might have three axes (x, y, and z) that span each of the dimensions of three dimensional space. The space is all the area contained within that coordinate system. So, if I add a fourth dimension, I am just adding a fourth axis. Now the space is that much larger.
