I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here I go anyways. 😛

I’m currently learning Spanish and I think I’m far enough along that it’d be a good idea to invest in a good, Catholic, Spanish bible. However, I don’t want a bible that’s equivalent to the Douay-Rheims in its vocabulary. I don’t want an obscure, watered-down bible either, but something easy to read and rather mainstream, like the Good News translation in English. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, please share. 👍

(P.S.- is the word “bible” supposed to be capitalized? :confused: )

When I want to read from the bible in Spanish, I sometimes use this website biblia.catholic.net/. It is a solely online version, not hard copy, but it is always easy to find what I am looking for.

My hard copy Spanish bible use this translation Dios Habla Hoy (DHH), which is a Catholic translation.

I currently own a Spanish Bible called La Biblia Latinoamerica and contains all 72/73 books. I too read it daily to improve my Spanish,although I do dpeak it and write it already.
