I most definitely will include them in my prayers…

I was born breech, and mom’s never let me forget it…

My first daughter was breech and at 37 weeks they decided to try a cephalopelvic version, which meant I layed on a hospital bed while two doctors stood on either side of me and turned the baby from the outside. It was painful, but it worked and I didn’t need a C-section. Is she going to try this sort of thing?

she has decided not to try to turn the baby so many prayers would be wonderful

Can you hurt the baby if you try to turn it on the outside? That just sounds so painful!

My prayers are with her. 🙂 I was born breech as well, my mother never let me forget that either. 😃

I say this morning’s:gopray2: Rosary for the mother and baby. Please keep us posted as to how they are doing:love:

It may be too late for this to help, but here’s a site that shows you how to get the baby in the proper birth position.

Yes it was miserable, it felt like my insides were being twisted and I had marks on the sides of my belly where one of the Doc’s claws dug in. I would probably not do it again because I would be afraid it would hurt the baby. My doc didn’t inform me of any complications other than an emergency Csection, but I assume there could have been worse complications. I do know that they had to try twice and the second time, my husband promised her that he would buy her a corvette when she turned 18, and she quickly turned.

I will say a prayer right now.

My daughter’s midwife told her yesterday (2 weeks to go now) to get on her hands and knees and do pelvic rocking - hunching her back and swing hips from side to side.

She also suggested that acupuncture can work.

I did all these exercises and I can’t imagine a baby turning once they are as tight in the womb as my daughter was. Considering how much force it took for the docs to turn my daughter, I can’t imagine her doing it by herself. Once the baby gets so big, I don’t think all the exercises in the world could make them turn.

Me too! I was stubborn even in the womb! 🙂

I hope everything works out well for little Ava and her mom!
