I received this email the other day and I am asking all my CAF friends to join in. I’m in Australia and I know you are all mostly in the USA but, time means nothing to God… Please pass this on and please join in!!!

Rosary, a powerful prayer!

Hi Everyone,

Imagine what might happen if every catholic in the world would pray a Rosary on the same day! We have an example in October of 1573, when Europe was saved from the invasion of the mighty Turkish fleet. Europe was saved by the praying of the Rosary by all Christians! So, on Good Friday, let’s all pray a Rosary for the intention of ending abortion,including an end to Terrorism. If possible, please pray your Rosary between noon and 3:00pm.
Also, please e-mail this message to every catholic on your address list,and ask them to pass it along to every catholic on their lists. Let’s unite in praying one of the most powerful prayers on one of the holiest days, for two of this increasingly urgent intention.

Why not! I’ll dedicate my daily rosary to these intentions and intend to spend the time between noon and 3pm in prayer and reflection at any rate.
 
Count me in!! I will be at work though so probably will not be able to say the complete rosary until evening time.

count me in… can i say it some other time on the same day as i will be in service from 3 to 6 for good friday…??

Sadly I didn’t get very far. I was laying in bed praying the rosary, thinking to myself that it’d be no big deal to close my eyes so long as I kept saying the Hail Marys. I mean…who can fall asleep while praying out loud. Apparently I did. :o

Hi Catholig,

You are not alone!! I fell asleep on the couch praying the rosary last night after work. But today is a new day so I will try again today!!

I’m sure God understands… as long as we try and keep trying. I said it with my 5 children and nephew, so that makes up for it…(maybe???)

That is really inspiring!! I will definitely keep at it!! I love the rosary. But I tend to start it too late in the evening when I am sleepy. I am going to try it as soon as I get home from work tonight. That will work much better I think!
