The purpose of this thread is for forum members to share any spiritual insights that they may have received from praying the rosary.

I will begin.

One of the central themes is birth, death, and rebirth.

joyful mysteries = birth

sorrowful mysteries = death

glorious mysteries = rebirth

I thought of how the “Hail Holy Queen” prayer is an extended version of the “Hail Mary.”

Great idea for a thread!

Peace.

Spiritual insight on the luminous mysteries:

The word transcends the letter;
the spirit transcends the flesh.

Still the vestiges of that which is lesser are present with us.

Water is a means for baptism and important as a sacramental.
As great as water is it is used as a reflection towards infinity.

The third Sorrowful Mystery - The Crowning of Thorns

How the soldiers mocked Jesus as king and put a crown of thorns upon His adorable head and a robe upon His sacred body. Jesus, the creator of Heaven and earth, angels and people, accepted the mockery of His true kingship.

How the world still mocks Jesus through the media and songs. How the world uses His name in vain and without reverence. How the world questions His Divine Providence.

Still, today Our Lord is being continuously mocked and crowned with thorns. How men have hardened their own hearts.

Peace.

I could relate several thing but I will only say

That in the Hail Mary pray - Jesus is central to the prayer - blessed is the fruit of thy womb “Jesus”

The whole prayer hinges at this point

We basicly greet Mary as the angel did ending with Blessing Jesus ( central part of the prayer) and then asking Mary to pray for us.

As non Catholics say its a prayer to praise Mary - but is it really?

In no way am I trying to take away from Mary in this prayer but simply point out that Jesus is central to the prayer - that is the point i am making.

The mysteries of the Rosary are a consistent journey through the gospel and in a very profound way its a pilgrimage with the Lord and His Mother every time its recited, still its our continuing journey in which we place our trust in the Lords Mother to lead us to Him. The Almighty God trusted Mary, I seen no reason why I shouldn’t.

“Hail Holy Queen” is probably my favorite prayer! Thinking of it as an extension of the ‘Hail Mary’ is blissful! Thank you!

LOVE! 🙂

Bl JP-II called it the School of the most Holy Rosary.

“Among all the devotions approved by the Church, NONE has been so favored by so many miracles as the Rosary devotion.” - Pope Pius IX

Truly its a course in miracles. 🙂

In the visitation we see the first Eucharistic procession. Also we are a Eucharistic procession when we receive Christ and carry him into the world.

Finding in the Temple: We can’t judge other parents, even Our Lady lost Jesus for three days.

Resurrection: We see that the Lord rose not just because the tomb was empty but because the burial clothe is folded (my wife says to my little kids “Jesus made his bed”

Crowning of Mary: Watch the YouTube video “Star of Bethlehem” and see how even at the time of Christ Rev. 12 shows Mary was Queen of Heaven at Christ’s birth. Even before she was crowned he was crowned. (trust me watch the movie) 🙂

The procedure of the divine and cosmic rosary is based on the divine procedure that the divine Christ cannot fail in assimilating the divine meaning of it.
