Gluttony is habitual greed.

We are told to pray without ceasing.

How can we be greedy because we want to pray more and be better spiritually?

Spiritual gluttony is when we want to feel consolation during prayer or some spiritual exercise instead of doing it to better ourselves and worship God even if it is tiresome and dull.

A person can get addicted to the sweet kumbaya sensations of prayer.
Understandable, but not good.

LOL, you know, that delightful, mellow, at-peace-with-the-world sensation that prayer sometimes brings (before annoying real life people barge in that you actually have to deal with)
