We all know that Lent is upon us.

Is there any spiritual reading you reccommend?

I’m following a Lenten Bible study plan on the Youversion Bible app. I’m sure there are other great reading plans online. I get the daily mass readings e-mailed to me by the USCCB and find it rewarding to read those daily as well. Try searching on the Catholic Answers main page, and on the EWTN website. Of course, the different Bible apps sometimes have good reading plans. Otherwise, reading about the roots of the Eucharist, or even re-reading the Little Flowers of Saint Francis or one of the biographies of him is often beneficial during times of extra spiritual dedication.

Here a few:

True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary by St. Louis de Montfort - deserves pride of place

The Ways of Mental Prayer by Rt. Rev. Abbot Dom Vitalis Lehodey, O.C.R. - a very meaty book, at times hard to read, but absolutely incredible and perhaps unmatched in its thorough explanation of how to meditate.
