Good Afternoon,
I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has read the book by Carol Brown called the Mystery of Spiritual Sensitivity. It is an area of interest for me because a lot of what she describes rings true for me.
She writes about spiritual, emotional and neurological sensitivity and how some people seem to be more likely to be impacted by what other people are going through. For example, someone that is particularly sensitive may become overwhelmed with sadness for no apparent reason. But the person may have had contact with a friend or someone that was depressed.
I find her work interesting in that I’ve never seen how being sensitive is a gift. Up until now I’ve tried to be less sensitive but now I know I shouldn’t. It’s been a breakthrough for me but I’m still trying to figure it all out. I’m just wondering if there are others with similar experiences.
