Splash mountain pregnant

This reminded me: about three years ago, I went to a theme park with a friend. I went on rides with the kids while my friend stayed near the wave pool to relax.

Now, I love roller coasters and all of those fun rides – but after two or three trips my head was spinning and I just had to camp out next to her. I couldn’t get over how I couldn’t handle even the tame pirate ship ride!

A week later I had the “classic” symptoms, confirming I was pregnant with my youngest (now @2.5). The best pregnancy test ever for me? A roller coaster!

I told my wife not to go on splash mountain and I am glad I did. She saw the drop and immediately agreed. I took the 4,7 and 9 year old on the ride while she got ice cream. There were several “falls” and then the big “fall.” The bar across the belly smashed into my stomach quite hard several times and actually left a mark. ( I have the build of a moderately pregnant woman.:o) I can say for certain that we made the right choice.
