No, his charitable works does not cancel out his adultery. Adultery is a very grave sin and you cannot bribe God with charitable works so you can continue commiting this evil with impunity.

And yes, we can know what God thinks. He made that very plain in the Ten Commandments.
Again I say, nobody knows whats between a man & God, You know God knows man is weak, he knows temptation lures him, maybe some day this man will become a great saint. God will be the final judge of that man , not you

I am in total agreement with that. Nobody knows what is between God and man. I think I have said before that only God knows how much grace is given to us and how well our response to that grace is. And I am not passing a judgment here.

What I have an issue with is the idea that it is okay to commit one sin as long as they cancel it with a good deed. It does not work that way.

God does not need to reward us for our good deeds because at the end of the day we are doing no more than what is required of us. He commanded us to obey and obey we must, nothing more nothing less.

Sinning is doing something contrary to what is required of us so we are being disobedient and prideful. It is pride that caused Adam and Eve to disobey God. They thought that they will be their own moral arbiters.

Good & well

There are other folks going to heaven besides catholics
No, everyone in heaven will be Catholic. When they die, they will see things as the really are, and since they want to be with Jesus, they will embrace the One Faith He brought. 😃
You know most catholics are catholic in name only they dont practice their religion at all are they going to heaven simply because they are catholic
Definitely not. Only the doers of the Law will be justified.
So here we go, Man doesnt know, he only thinks he knows
Jesus has revealed all that we need to know. He told His Apostles He would guide them into all truth.

My sister once said that the difference between us and protestants is that when we get to heaven, they will be surprised and go wow! this is wonderful, but the Catholcs will be hi-fiving the saints.😃
