I am looking for streaming Catholic sacred music. Unfortunately, all of the links I’ve been able to find have either led to dead pages or sites that have a mix of contemporary and more traditional hymns. Does anyone know of current sites that stream sacred music — chant, choral, polyphony etc."

Thanks very much!

I’ll be following this thread with anticipation since I’ve been looking for something similar for a while now. I find listening to plainchant and polyphony oddly conducive to efficient work. In the mean time I’ve just let Pandora do all the work: make a new station of your favorite polyphonic composer (say Byrd, Palestrina, Tallis, etc.) and after the initial streamed song that comes from said composer you’ll hear “similar music”. It takes a couple hours of listening until Pandora’s search algorithms lead down a rabbit hole and take you to a genre of music that’s actually unrelated, at which point you just reset the station. Good luck!

Brandon Cal, thanks for the suggestion; I had not thought of Pandora.

I’m not sure where in the Forums my post has ended up, but hopefully there are some new options out there. I’m surprised that some of the websites devoted to restoring the sacred in the liturgy have not been involved with a project like this – or at least I was not able to discover such.
