I was wondering if watching shows like Ghost Adventures is a sin? I watch these ghost-busting shows sometimes and I’d always thought they were fake entertainment. After tonight, I’m not so sure.
Tonight the crew on the show investigated a place that is supposedly haunted. At worst, there were demonic forces in this place, or, at best, it was fake and they wanted the audience to believe they’d encountered demonic forces. They even had someone do an exorcism.
  1. Is watching these shows sinful?
  2. Do you think the ghosts and or demons they find are real or fake?

    Nope. But I think most of them are fake

I think they can be real. But most likely are fake. But I believe in shows like A Haunting when they have people telling their stories usually about a ghost in their house. I think most of the ghosts are demons though.
 
I like these haunting shows mostly because they wander around in neat old buildings. As long as you take EVERYTHING on these shows with a grain of salt, they can be innocent fun 😃

In the episode I saw last night, one of the investigators said that he felt anger toward the bishop who performed the exorcism and he felt like he wanted to kill him. That kind of freaked me out a little bit.
 
I don’t think they’re all bad.
I’ve noticed the ghosts usually don’t go away until a Catholic priest gets involved. 😃
