Do you have a question or comment about these videos?
I don’t open unknown links.
It would help if you summarize the content, or ask a question.

Your hostile comment reminds me of “Doubting Thomas”!

I have a question arising from the news item in that link which is also a matter of grave concern relating to the arena of SOCIAL JUSTICE which should be felt by people like you and me both as followers of Christ and fellow human beings!
How should Catholics get organized to act and voice their opinions nationally and internationally against acts of cruelty and degrading nature inflicted by law enforcement agencies against helpless civilians both within and out of social media?
Thank you!

I am not at all hostile. I just am very apprehensive about opening links to places that I am not familiar with.
As far as acts of cruelty by police forces- that should never happen.
However, as someone who has lots of friends in loved ones in law enforcement, I also know that there is always more to the story than what is captured on camera.
Everyone has the right to be treated with dignity, but if you are breaking the law, and/or not complying with lawful orders of law enforcement, I believe that they should be able to take whatever means necessary to protect themselves and the public.

She’s not hostile.

She’s just asking: what’s the point or question? You posted links but there is no context.

What is it you want to discuss?

Its usually due to corruption in parts of the world like Sri Lanka, in the US though, its a bit more gray and cloudy.

Although I do wonder how it got to the point of being such a police state, maybe people today are more ‘conditioned’ to believe its better to give some things up if it means more security/ safety, but we all know how that usually ends!

I have little desire to view random links as they do not meet the criterion of what I consider to be an actual thread/post, except for replies. Police in many places have a commissioner who is little more than a politician with a badge. They work closely with elected officials. Thus, police officers themselves are often briefed to do the job these political figures request to be done. Sadly, the public are often lied to by politicians (claiming they agree and are on the side of the public) which results in police officers receiving scrutiny for what they were told was in the public interest.

Solution: Don’t let your elected officials lie their way out anymore

She was not hostile at all. The proper forum and internet ettiquette for what you’ve been posting the past few weeks would be to start your post with something like this: "I found this video on __________ and was concerned about _________. What does Catholic teaching say about it? or What do you think we should do about it? ", instead of just posting some random link and not giving details about what it is and what you want to discuss about it.
