Ah, yes, if in accordance with Catholic teaching if a Bishop is saying something that is flat out wrong, one must not follow them.

I don’t think it can be denied that a Bishop like Rembert Weakland was not properly teaching the Faith.

Still, not for us to decide. That is the Holy See’s job, and they did it in that case.
By your own admission, one should not follow a Bishop who is “flat out” wrong. That includes Bishop Fellay.
