This may sound like a stupid question, but since Brother Andre credited any healings to the intercession of St Joseph and had a great personal devotion to him, when asking Brother Andre for intercession for a healing, do you ask him directly or go through St Joseph?

(My brain should be able to figure this out, but for some reason I keep thinking he would want the intercession of St Joseph, what do you think?)

When I ask St. Joseph for intercession, I often join the names of some of his really good friends to his: St. Joseph, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Peter Julian Eymard, St. André, please pray for my intentions!

Why not ask for the intercession of BOTH St. Joseph and St. Andre? (His baptismal name was ALFRED, and his last name was BESSETTE…just think of the maiden name of the late JFK Jr’s wife. It was the same as St. Andre’s…I wonder if there was any relationship somewhere in her family tree…but I digress 😉 )

St. Andre called himself the ‘little dog’ or the ‘transmission wire’ between him and St. Joseph when the Brother lived here on earth. So why not in heaven?

As somebody said, ‘There’s no envy in heaven!’ 🙂 😛

I think St. Alfed Bissette would happily intercede. There is nothing wrong with asking St. Alfred Bissette, St Joseph or any other saint. They’re saints after all!

Yeah, I posted in a hurry without checking my spelling. My bad.:o

During his lifetime, people went to Brother André to ask for his prayers. If he, in turn, presented those needs to St. Joseph, why would it be any different to go to Brother in heaven? He may likely ask St. Joseph to intercede, just as he did on earth.
