I brought a St.Beneditct medal.
just wondering does it have to be bless before wearing it? Or can you wear it and then get it bless afterwards?

I wore mine a couple days before getting it Blessed.

There is the “blessing of usage” – just simply using the sacramental the way intended will bring about blessings. However, this does not replace the blessing of a priest.

Of course you can wear it before getting it blessed. I wore mine for a good while before I could get the appropriate blessing done for it. (I wanted the traditional blessing with exorcisms which required him to be vested.)
