St. Catherine Day: Dominican Sisters

St. Catherine is patroness of what used to be known as the Third Order of St. Dominic. The TOSD used to be split into two branches – secular and “Regular”, meaning “rule.”

The Dominicans consider themselves a family now, and “third order” is no longer used.
