His incorruptibility must’ve been temporary, as his bones/relics were recently at my parish!

Being incorrupt does come and go. St Charbel was one where it has passed.
When he was incorruptible his relics gave off an oil. People would place cloths in the oil.
And the cloths were thought of as relics. First class.

His relic was here too but NOT his whole body. We never got to see the actual relic it was in a small box like reliquary. As far as I know the rest is still incorruptible. You might go on EWTN.com and see if you can find the program with Fr. Mitch Pacwa interviewing the Bishop of the Mennonite Church in Calif. It was on the EWTN Live show on Wed. nights. That was very interesting and they had the Relic there too. God Bless, Memaw

Maronite, not Mennonite 😃 Bishop Shaheen actually makes a joke about being called Mennonite on that very show.

Saint Charbel’s relics were here also. On the last day they were here Chorbisop Kail did a Pontifical Liturgy at the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon. It wa beautiful. I believe they will be at every Maronite church in the US.

I got a bottle of oil that had been placed in with the relics and blessed.

The book is THE INCORUPTLES. It was written by Joan Carrol Cruz. Published by TAN publisthers. The chapter has 2 pictures, one taken when he was still incorupted.

Sorry about the mistake, I DO know the difference!! Yes, I also have the oil. The oil actually comes from the body of St. Sharbel and it STILL does. They told me it is added to pure oil as a carrier. God Bless, Memaw

There is a fine film about the life of St. Charbel on the official website of St. Maron Monastery - Sanctuary of St. Charbel.

Choose Video from the menu on the left and select **Film about the life of St. Charbel with English subtitles. **

Actually I was wrong about the video! I was thinking of this older video where Fr. Pacwa interviews Bishops Shaheen & Mansour. It is worth a watch as well!

I asked this great saint his help for my porn addiction on his day last Sunday, seconds after failing in a temptation, he is helping me and I am slowly losing interest in the topic, and my attention is shifting to a softer area, and hopefully my addiction will go soon enough.

Saint Charbel, pray for us.

I had been suffering for almost nine years with an auto-immune condition. I dont usually ask for prayers for myself, but I requested of St. Charbel for healing from this condition. Not immediately but in very short time my symptoms have subsided to almost complete healing. No treatment has ever helped but this prayer request. Thank you, St. Charbel for your intercession.

His feast day is this Sunday.
