Is St. Christina the Astonishing officially canonized and on the universal calendar of saints? I’ve heard some saints like St. Christopher are on local but not universal calendars.

I don’t believe she’s on the universal calendar.
The calendars are different for different countries.
Obviously, Our Lady of Guadalupe is a holyday in Mexico, but not here, St. Patrick’s in Ireland, etc…Various countries honor their particular favorite saints. I believe her feast day is July 24. Along with many other saints.

Does that mean she is a local saint instead of a saint recognized by the entire church?

She IS recognized by the entire church. When you are canonized, you’re in.Does that mean she is a local saint instead of a saint recognized by the entire church?
It’s just that not every locale celebrates her feast day.
Anyone can celebrate it or invoke her in prayers if they wish though. We are not bound by the liturgical calendar.
